Merry Christmas From Nerd Rambles

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful time celebrating with loved ones. No matter what the holidays look like for you, I hope you are living your best life right now. After the stressful year that a lot of us have endured, we all deserve a bit of fun today.

My family and I are still getting the last-minute details finished and cooking up a storm for tonight. Christmas is, first and foremost, a time for family for us. Hosting family we haven’t seen in a while, sharing a good meal and a grand old time. This year promises to be a bit chaotic, not that I am complaining as it’s delightful.

I put my new crochet skills to the test and crafted four large stockings for the youngest members of the family. It was tricky at first but by the last one down I had gotten a good handle on it. I also made crochet candy canes to hand out to children at work, which went down a treat. I have a few left that I’m going to give to my grandmother.

Time for our little Christmas tradition we have here, the Christmas thank you messages.

First and foremost, to my best friend Shiloh. Thank you for continuing to be there for me and introducing me to new ideas. You have always supported me and guided me to become the better version of myself. I can’t wait to see you soon!

To my chaotic as hell D&D miscreants. Thank you for all the laughs and support. You guys mean the world to me. It’s been about three years since we met, and our motley crew has only gotten closer. I truly consider you guys family. I love you, nerds!

Thanks go out to the brilliant bunch of OWLS and the blogging community at large. Your supportive comments and feedback have allowed me to evolve my content over the years.

Last but not least, I want to thank everyone who has read at least one single rant of mine. It means the world to me that people take time out of their day to read my rambles.
