Achievement Unlocked: Level 25

Today is my birthday!

I turn 25 years old today. You would think by now I would know what I want to do with the rest of my life, you would be sorely mistaken. I still have no clue whatsoever. However, since today is my birthday, I think I can save the existential crisis for a later date.

This year we aren’t doing much to celebrate. Partly because in my family, birthdays stop being a big deal after your 21st. However, it’s mainly because I don’t want to do much. Maybe this is a part of growing older, but the idea of having some big party sounds like more hassle than it’s worth. We are just going to one of my favourite restaurants for lunch, maybe go shopping or something, then in the evening, I’m going to play D&D.

I’m a woman of simple pleasures, what can I say.

I have this little tradition I like to do every year around this time. I like to thank some special people in my life.

First, as always, is my best friend, Shiloh. Thank you for enduring all my rants, the laughs and the non-judgemental support. You have always been there for me, especially during the chaos that was last year.

My dear D&D group, thank you for all the Monday mayhem. You lot are so important to me. It is an honour to be a part of such a witty and excepting group of nerds. Thank you for all your advice and comradery, both in and out of the game.

To OWLS and the blogging community overall. Thank you all for the advice and shout outs. I love how this community continues to spread positivity, keep being amazing!

I have one last person to thank, you. Yes, you reading right now. I have been creating content here for going on six years, yet it still surprises me that folks like reading my rants and raves. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read a ramble or two, it truly means the world to me.
