Level 24

Yesterday I reached a new level in this game called life.

Gods, I feel old.

This year we had a chilled celebration. My parents, sister, and I simply hung out and did some shopping. I treated myself to a new face mask since it looks like we are going to have to keep using them for a while longer.

I will admit, I did get overly excited about the coffee press mug they gave me. I swear my coffee addiction is getting worse, but that is a problem to address another day. That, and a new gaming headset.

We also managed to go out for a nice dinner. All and all, a rather lovely day.

As per tradition, I like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who reads this little blog. So, thank you!

First and most importantly, thank you Shiloh. You are one of the most important people in my life. I know I say this a lot, but it’s still true. If it wasn’t for you, I would not be here today. At the very least, I would not be the woman I am now. Thank you for putting up with all my rants and cringe.

Special thank yous to OWLS for the wonderful community you let me join. You are not just talented writers, but incredible people. Thank you for the support, ideas, and inspiration.

To my chaotic party, Fates Folly. You lot are the highlight of my week. It has been an honor to play with you, more so to DM for you. Even away from the game, you guys are great friends. Oh, and I have cooked up a few horrors for you to face soon. Look forward to that.

Burning Maggots, I know we don’t talk much these days, but you lads are important to me. I look forward to finally getting to hang out with you one day when this blows over.

Last but by no means least, you. Yeah, you! Every view this little blog gets means a lot to me. So even if you have only read Nerd Rambles once or are a frequent reader, thank you so much for visiting my corner of the internet.

I try my best to constantly improve, hopefully, it’s paying off. I like to think it is at least.
