Let’s get this out of the way, once again there is nothing for D.Va and I am a little salty, but at this point, I am not surprised anymore. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.
Thank you for letting me get that off my chest, time to move on to the topic at hand.
So far I’m having a great time with the Retribution event. I didn’t expect to enjoy the story mode as much as I have since I don’t play any of the four choices. However, thanks to Retribution I have discovered that I am an adequate McCree.
In terms of gameplay its simple but fun. It’s a matter of survival as you face wave after wave of enemies. What I love most about it is the banter between the Blackwatch members as you play, particularly Moira’s.
If you prefer last years event, then I have good news for you. In the Arcade you can play both versions of Uprising. If I had to pick I would have to admit that I like Retribution more than Uprising but I am not passing up the opportunity to play Uprising again.
I didn’t know how desperately I wanted Mei in her PJs as a skin until I saw it. I have made it my mission to get it before the event draws to a close on the 30th.
The rest of the skins are pretty cool, I have my eye on the Scion Hanzo and Talon Sombra ones in particular.
Overall, a rather solid event. Looking forward to playing more when I get the chance. That Mei skin will be mine!
