Halloween Hangover

If you are anything like me, you love Halloween. Personally it’s my favourite time of year. However, November 1st isn’t such a good day. You see posts of Halloween events your friends went to, shops taking down Halloween displayed and Halloween products are sold off cheaply.

I call this, the Halloween Hangover.

Frankly, it sucks to watch Halloween being thrown out the way in favour of Christmas.

So, I present to you Halloween Hangover cures!

  • Watch the nightmare before Christmas.

This film is a classic in so many ways, and it’s (rather obviously) a movie about both Halloween and Christmas making it the perfect film to watch this in between holidays month.

  • Cheap treats.

Sweets sold cheaply? Take advantage of this! Just don’t eat anything out of its best before date, but that’s a given.

  • No time like the present.

With Christmas approaching away, consider starting to get Christmas presents and distract yourself with that task.

  • Pumpkin pig out.

Get you last Pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin pie and other pumpkin related foods. It’s your last chance until next year.

  • Remember, it’s only a day.

Halloween may only be a day, but the holiday is more than just getting sweets and scaring yourself with horror movies. It’s all about the fun in being spooked. You can do that all year round.

I hope this helped!

Growing up, Megan was that one kid at the back of class reading manga. Now, not much has changed except she started a blog. Basically, your typical geek (although she prefers the term Otaku)
